Covered Bridge FA

The annual Covered Bridge FA, which is organized by the N.E. Ohio Trail Club, took place again today in Mill Creek Park (Youngstown, OH).  The official start time was 8am but some showed up at 6am for the optional early start.
 


The weather was awesome – 50 degrees with a cool breeze.  It only got chilly when it was raining and the wind picked up, but there weren’t many times when the rain was very heavy.  The trails were also in pretty good shape.  There was a lot of water and mud but about 95% of the ice on the trail had melted.  Much better than in previous years when the trail had solid inches of ice on it.
