NEO Trail Member Kim Love-Ottobre tried to go somewhere warm and race over the weekend. She found a race but the temperatures stayed pretty cold in North Carolina. Kim finished the Weymouth Woods 100K Race in 16 hours 44 minutes. Her longer blog post can be found here or over to the sidebar on the right.

NEO Trail had good representation at the event.
36 Mile Finisher: Laurie Colon
NEO Trail Member Tanya Cady is the Race Director of this Event. The proceeds of this race goes to the Fisher House in Cincinnati, Ohio. A Fisher House™ is "a home away from home" for families of patients receiving medical care at major military and VA medical centers. The homes are normally located within walking distance of the treatment facility or have transportation available. The Fisher House in Cincinnati gave Diana Shivers a place to stay while Regis Shivers Sr was having treatments and care at the VA Center.
NEO Trail Members Dan Bellinger, Lloyd Thomas, Eric Deutsch, Dave Peterman, Carole Krus were among the brave volunteers who stood out in the cold weather to help. Roy Heger also helped mark the course the day before running. Bill Wagner helped Tanya sweep the course afterwards.
