He'll have a bit more time to rest before tackling Burning River July 28.
Hallucination, in Michigan is September 7.
The Grand Slam
The Grand Slam of Ultrarunning award is recognition for those who complete four of the
oldest 100 mile trail runs in the U.S. The "Slam" consists of officially finishing
the Western States 100 Mile Endurance Run,
the Vermont 100 Mile Endurance Run,
the Leadville Trail 100 Mile Run and
the Wasatch Front 100 Mile Endurance Run all in the same year.
Dave Peterman was lucky in the WS$R lottery, and he is going for the Grand Slam this year.
He will begin his quest on June 26, in Auburn for the Western States Run.
Vermont follows quickly on July 16.
Leadville is on August 20, followed by Wasatch on September 9.
Best of luck guys!
