Summer is Heating Up!

This was the 24th year of the Vermont Endurance 100 Mile Run.

The Vermont 100 Endurance Race is one of the original 100 mile runs in the USA and a part of the Grand Slam Series of Ultrarunning.    There is also a 100 Mile Endurance Ride happening concurrently with the footrace.

NEO TC members Desiree Cowie and Dave Peterman made the trip to Vermont for the footrace.

Des Cowie finished in 24.54.31, with Wild Bill Wagner pacing her the last thirty miles.

Dave Peterman had a very solid race, finishing in 20.23, with LT (Lloyd Thomas) pacing him.

Nice work, everyone!!

Back in Ohio, Dan Bellinger took home second in his age group, 2nd Grandmasters, in the "Dirty Mo" Trail Race, in Loudonville, Ohio, 1:55:09.

Farther up, in Northern Ohio, The Summer Meltdown 5K was held in Lakewood.

Heidi Finiff finished 3rd in her age group,  at 25.12

Gale Connor finished in 30.06

There was a "Bill Wagner" finishing the 5K also, but we're pretty sure Bill was in Vermont vs Lakewood.
