YUT-C 50K/25K Registration Update

The YUT-C 25K is filled, but entries will be accepted until this Saturday Aug 28th.  After the 28th entry is CLOSED.  Any 25K entry received after the 28th will be returned. 

Approx. 25 spots remain for the 50K as of 8/24.

Leadville Trail 100 Results

Congrats to the 363 individuals that crossed the Leadville 100 finish line this past weekend within the 30 hour time limit. 99 of them finished sub-25 hours.

Run the Keweenaw 25K

Congrats to NEO Trail member Dan Bellinger for completing the “Run the Keweenaw 25K” in a time of 2:21:47 (2nd age group).  This trail race takes place in Copper Harbor, MI on difficult single-track mountain bike trails.  Click Here to visit the event website.

Hardrock 100 Miler

The 17th running of the Hardrock 100 Mile Endurance Run is scheduled to start at 6:00am tomorrow morning. This year the course will be run in the clockwise direction- a big loop through the San Juan Mountains of beautiful Colorado: Silverton - Ophir - Telluride - Ouray - Sherman - back to Silverton. 33,992 feet of climb and 33,992 feet of descent for a total elevation change of 67,984 feet with an average elevation of 11,186 feet - low point (7,680), high point (14,048).

Mohican 50 & 100 Mile Trail Run

This past weekend NEO Trail members also competed in the 21st Annual Mohican 50 & 100 Mile Trail Runs.  Congratulations to Eric Deutsch for finishing his first 100 miler in a time of 26:15:54!  This placed him 19th out of 150 runners!  Also congrats to Kim Boner and Laurie Colon for taking the top 2 spots in the 50 Miler!

Highlands Sky 40 Mile Trail Run

Laurel Highlands Results

Congratulations to Cam Baker (2nd overall) and Jim Harris (8th overall) for both finishing in the top 10 of this past weekend’s Laurel Highlands Ultra. 

Also, congrats to Tara Schweitzer (51st overall) for achieving a new distance PR in a time of 23 hours, 11 minutes, and to Dan Bellinger (56th overall) for finishing in a time of 23 hours, 38 minutes.

No Frills, Just Hills FA Results

Hot temperatures and sunshine greeted runners for the 3rd straight year at the No Frills, Just Hills FA. New attendance and course records were set. Click here for photos and results from yesterday's run.

May 29 – No Frills, Just Hills FA

The 3rd Annual No Frills, Just Hills FA will take place this Saturday starting at 8am from the Pine Hollow parking lot (Cuyahoga Valley National Park). 

The objective of this run is to see how many 2 mile loops you can do in a 6 or 12 hour period.  Almost 100% of this run takes place on grass and dirt trails.  Water & restrooms are on the course but no additional aid will be provided since this is an FA run.  There is no entry fee for this run, but everyone is asked to bring food & drinks to share with everyone afterwards.
